Intel's much-
hyped
P6/
GTL+ chipset,
released in
Q4 1999. Features include
Rambust Direct
DRAM support, the 133mhz
bus - offically, and UDMA/66
hard drives.
This
chipset is
Intel's latest
excuse for a
motherboard upgrade, and does not provide much
functionality over their
old school BX chipset, which it is supposed to
replace.
